UKSim2009, will be held at <place><placename>Emmanuel</placename> <placename>College</placename></place>, <city><place>Cambridge</place></city>, 25-27 March 2009. The conference is in its final stages of preparation and has attracted well over 100 papers from around the world.

A full report will be available on the UKSim and EUROSIM websites after the event.

AMS2009 is planned to take place in <city><place>Bandung</place></city> and <place><city>Bali</city>, <country-region>Indonesia</country-region></place>, 25-28 May.

A full report will be available on the UKSim and EUROSIM websites after the event.

<place>EMS</place>. The next <place>EMS</place> conference is planned to take place late in 2009 or in 2010.

It is intended to attract good papers from both <place>Europe</place> and the rest of the world, providing younger researchers with experience of attending an international conference, presenting a paper on the international stage, of meeting well known international speakers, and being published by IEEE. It is further intended to be held at a time and place in <place>Europe</place> that should not compete with other national, regional, or European conferences.

Previous Years

2007 was special because in March 2007 UKSim organized the first Asia Modelling Symposium, AMS2007, at the Prince of Songkla University, Phuket campus in conjunction with the Thai 10th Annual National Symposium on Science and Engineering ANSCSE10, chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pichaya Tandayya.

UKSim was also involved with the EUROSIM/UKSim 2008 held in <city w:st="on"><place w:st="on">Cambridge</place></city>. the first official EUROSIM event, now no longer a concept, but a reality. It is hoped that their will now be such an event every year except in a EUROSIM Congress year, to be organised by a EUROSIM member society.
