Report EUROSIM'04, Paris
The Congress EUROSIM'04 took place in Noisy-le-Grand, near Paris, France, on September 6-10, 2004.
More than 180 people participated and 167 papers were presented in two parallel sessions. The presentations were organised into 15 main sessions and 9 special sessions. These sessions covered the wide ranging field of modelling and simulation and covered both basic subjects and applications. The presentations were from industry as well as from academia. The selected papers will be published in the SIMPRA journal.

Savastano award 2004. In 2004 the recipient of the award was Dr. Giuseppe Vairo from Italy, for the best paper published in the SIMPRA Journal during the period 2001-2003. The title of the paper was: A numerical model for wind loads simulation on long-span bridges (SIMPRA, Volume 11, Issues 5-6, 15 August 2003, Pages 315-351). The award was presented on occasion of EUROSIM'04.
