Report from the 42nd Board Meeting

The 42nd EUROSIM Board Meeting took place in Budapest, Hungary, September 17, 2018.

Main points were:

  • EUROSIM Congress 2019 – preparation status report by the President. The First Call will be available at the EUROSIM Congress Website on September 30, 2018.
  • EUROSIM PhD thesis award: to be awarded at each EUROSIM Congress, thesis in English, societies may do a preselection.
  • Society MIMOS is unanimously accepted as full member of EUROSIM.
  • Societies that have been inactive for a long time are CROSSIM, FRANCOSIM, HSS, ISCS. Info will be removed from publications.

The next Board Meeting will be in April 2019 in Logrogno, Spain.
