Report from the 47th Board Meeting

The 47th EUROSIM Board Meeting was held in Rome, during the I3M conference as a hybrid meeting with personal and online participation, September 21, 2022.

Main points were:

  • Status of the preparation of  the next EUROSIM Congress to be held in Amsterdam, hosted by DBSS. Website: www.eurosim2023.eu. A Call for Papers is available. EUROSIM societies are asked to organise tracks.
  • DBSS also continues the free virtual simulation seminar series VESS.
  • ASIM had the traditional symposium in July in Vienna with personal participation.
  • CEA SMSG has a new president. The proceedings of the EUROSIM 2019 are still in progress.
  • The SIMS annual meeting is going on at the moment.
  • UKSIM is preparing for the next meeting in Cambridge, 12-15 April.
  • The I3M conference had 50% of the papers presented online. Next year the conference will be in Athens.
